So Far This Summer

We have had a very busy summer so far, and so explains my absence from the computer. Caleb and Kennedy made their big move to Tennessee and then came back to stay with us for a month. It was a great month. It went way too fast. We loved having them here every day! It was fabulous. They left a couple of weeks ago and it has been a tough adjustment for us. We miss them a lot. Benny runs around the house calling their names all the time. It's actually really cute, but I feel sad for all of them. (and us) We are all going to be missing out on a lot.

Before they left, Caleb received his Eagle rank in scouts. He worked really hard and achieved a difficult goal. We are really proud of him.

This is Caleb with his friend Brandon, and his Grandpa. We tried to spend a lot of time just playing and having together. Lots of laughs and lots of smiles.

Quiet People!!!

It has been really hot!! Gotta cool down.

Or just stay inside.

We did get to go to the beach. It was such a nice get away.

Ashy was very relaxed!! ;o)

This is Caleb and baby Jude. He weighs as much as Benny does, and he is 10 months old. He is such a cutie!!

Cool surfer...well, boogie boarder...well, stander in the water up to her knees with a boogie board strapped to her wrist. :O)

The girlies. Leah, Kenken and Andrea.

This picture totally explains their personalities!!

Grandad with his girls.

Me and the girls!!!

Can't forget this guy!

SCAWY!!!
This is the face he makes when he is scared. And, as you might have guessed, he says "scawy." I really have no idea what was scaring him at this moment.

All was well once he got behind the wheel. He loves when he gets to "drive drive."

Kenken spent some time curling her hair.

The kids stayed a few extra days with Aunt Becky after we left. She saved their last week here. She kept them so busy. They had a lot of fun with her. Then she brought them back here to AZ. She and Andrea stayed here for a few more days. (even though it was like 187 degrees)

All in all, it we have had fun!! The first part of or summer was great. Now we're working on the rest. (we'll work harder if it cools down a little bit)
Why do people live here?!?!?!? ;o)
